this past thurs-saturday was spent in santa rosa, fl to celebrate madelyn's 13th birthday! it was such a treat to take she and her best friend caroline! i felt as though i was living in an episode of hannah montana with these 2! they are too fun! oh to be 13 again! ;) we had such a fun time... on the beach, shopping, eating at so many fun places, hanging out at Mrs. Lucille's Gossip Parlor, spa night at the beach house, and even making some of the funniest videos.. these 2 are quite the actresses! Miley Cyrus- watch out! I am so blessed to be able to do fun things like this w/my job and the opportunity to invest in these girls lives at such an important age of them becoming who Christ has made them... beautifully and wonderfully made for His purposes and the value & security they have in Him. I was reminded many times through the girls this weekend of the simple pleasures in life and just being a kid! The excitement of life and things around us... may we be in a passionate pursuit of things that matter, not settling for ordinary but going forth with great joy of what the Lord has already done for us and has in store for those who love Him!
